Sutawijaya, Putu (b. Bali, Indonesia, 1971)

He studied at Sekolah Tinggi Seni Rupa Denpasar (STSR), Bali and continued his studies at the Indonesia Institute of Art (ISI), Yogyakarta, graduating in 1997. He received the Best Watercolor and Sketch award from ISI in 1991 and won the Best Painting from ISI Top Ten Paintings in 1999. A year later he obtained the Lempad Price from Sanggar Dewata Indonesia.

 

Putu has had solo exhibitions in Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Singapore and Hong Kong. He also participated in numerous group exhibitions in Bali, Yogyakarta, Hong Kong.
